Signature Flexible Packaging faithfully reproduces your artist’s vision into a beautifully printed flexible package. We employ an exacting combination of pre-press and printing expertise and technologies. Our two Los Angeles-based manufacturing plants utilize the latest in flexible packaging converting equipment for printing, laminating, slitting and pouch/ bag making.

Pre- Press
Signature Flexible Packaging provides full digital pre-press services. Our pre-press systems are tightly calibrated to our printing presses. We can take virtually any art file and prep it into “press-ready”. We also work closely with your artist to insure their design is optimized for printing. Another essential portion our the “art-prep process”; Signature Flexible Packaging offers the latest in proofing technologies to illustrate in advance how your printed package will look.

Flexographic Printing
Signature Flexible Packaging operates 6 flexographic presses at our two LA-based faculties. Our presses print both solvent based and eco-friendly water based inks. We print in up to 8 colors using the newest in high screen count digital polymer printing plates.

Rotogravure Printing
Signature Flexible Packaging‘s rotogravure print achieves a crisp and vibrant image superior to other printing method. Our gravure is also tremendously consistent in terms of image and color. Gravure printing is available in up to 9 colors.

Adhesive Laminations
Our eco-friendly water based adhesive laminator is utilized for combining 2 or 3 film layers to make the optimum packaging material.

Extrusion Laminations
We offer extrusion laminations which utilize polyethylene to bond 2 or more films together. Typically the preferred method for laminating multi-ply foil structures. Also suitable for long production runs of snack-food packages.

Pouch and Bag Making
Signature Flexible Packaging’s Commerce, CA facility houses 10 bag and pouch making machines that manufacture an array of different style packages. Our bags and pouches are made from the same high barrier, high-strength materials we utilize for our printed, laminated rollstock.

Quality Control
Every order we produce is subjected to over 25 tests and measurements. These exacting evaluations are conducted on raw materials, work-in-progress and finished rolls and bags. Our QA lab is staffed by trained engineers who have at their disposal over $100,000 worth of sophisticated testing instruments.
